MEDICAL OFFICER'S COMPLAIX7. KAPIER, January 11. Dr W. W. Moore, medical superintendent of the Napier Hospital, in a report submitted to the trustees to-day, spoke stiougly of the insufficiency of the accommodation at the institution. He said th« position had for a long time been inconvenient and insuaitary, and it was now becomii\£ serious aiid quite intolerable, not to say Indecent. Tlie new chrondc warct would not relieve the pressure in the general hospital in the least, as cases that won-ld go there were never admitted! into the general hospital at all. The buildings at the general" hospital were utteily out of date and inadequate, and from a surgical point of view utterly lacking, with the exception of the operating theatre. A day rarely passed but some patient Mas lolled admission solely on account of want of room, and in raying this lie leferred only to cases that ouyht to be admitted even under the most stringent regulation?.
