FAST THROUGH SERVICE.
WELLINGTON, January 11. The inauguration of the fast mail ser-\ie-e between Wellington and Auckland, via the Main Trunk line, has been postponed from February 1 to February 15. The Public Works Engineer and General Manager of Railways, after inspecting the Ime. find that housing accommodation for the staff is not likely to be finished by February 1, and a, lot of loose rocks and boulders have to come down in some of the cuttings.
