CHRISTCHURCH. January 6. I At the Addington live stock market the enlues of stock were mostly small, except in fat lambs, of which there was the largest yarding for the season. There was a fair attendance. Beef sold rather more briskly. ' There was good demand for store lambs, and fat lambs sold well for export, and pigs were t m better demand. i The yarding of store sheep was a small one, though larger than during the past fewweeks. Lambs were in moat demand, and they sold up to 13s 4d for forward lots. Prices for oth-er classes of stores showed no i change. ' The entry of fat lambs was the largest of the season, nearly 3000 being penned. There was a fair proportion of prime quality, but many lots showed a want of finish.
