AMENDING LEGISLATION NOT DECIDED ON. REEFTON. January 11. The employers informed a representative of the lnangahua Times to-day that they were awaiting further information from the Government in regard to the measures likely to be proposed. Meanwhile they have not received any communication from the Accident Department. •It is believed that the dspprtment cou'd not undenake fresh risks unless they were approved by Order-in-Uouneil. The Miners' Union informed the Times that there v.as> no change in the position. They w eic simply waiting on the employers. Tiieie are still a good many men in town. The feeling against the companies tor delaying the settlement is very strong, and it is freely expiessed.
