POUNAWEA CONVENTION.

Allan, who preached from Revelations, chapters 3 a.nd 4, on the " Open doors " mentioned in such chapters. At 2.30 Mr G. H. Stephens conducted a children's service, | iL-ing a " magnet and nails " as an object | le»=oii. Then at 3.45 a missionary ro*et-in-r, presided over by Mr John Wilkinson, wa;j aclclre^vsd by Miss Joan Macgregor, recently from Ram>abai'e Mulcti Homes, on "The Missionary Needs of India." In the evening tlie tent was crowded, and solemn addressee wer© delivered by Mr Mallis on " Causes of Spiritual Breakdown," and by Mr Allan on "Things that Gcd Hath Joined Together." The ram militated against tlie attendance, hut, notwithstanding the very heavy showers which from time to tigae fell, all the rno-stin^s were well attended. It ia interesting to find those gathered from far and near, seeking one object, the deepening of their 'spiritual lives and greater efficiency for Christian work or service. j
