Too Little Sleep.
How very "crusty" the majority of us J are at breakfast 1 There is no doubt that i our manners improve as the day goes on. (- We generally begin fay finding fault with ' what is provided for our rooming meal. If we wish bacon and -Aggs it ie disconcerting and irritating to be served with fruit! Another person will have nothing to do with our bacon and eggs, but will be perfectly satisfied^ if given the fruit. But the true reason of our lack of geniality at' the morning meal is that we have "Slept too little, antd have not had time to pull ourselves together. We are tired and under-slept, arwl cross without reason. This "too little sleep" is the mistake of the present generation. We live such busy lives nowadays and cram such a terrible amount of work and play into our day that we need to take a slice out of the night in order to get everything in. So we rise tired, and this makes ue cross, and our nerves art ' all on edge, and everything seems to g< wrong all day long. We blame this thins and the other thing, and shut our eyee wiifully to the fact that we went to bed toe late and got up too early, as far as oui faculties are concerned.
