The condition of the wool throughout -was much better than it was last year. The following is the range of prices" obtained : Fine ciossbreda, good, lOd to 12id ; medium, 8d to 9Jd ; inferior, 6£d to 7^d ; coarse crossbreds, 7d to B^d ; medium, s|d to 7d ; pieces, first quality, 4|d to sj,d ; pieces, second quality, 3d to 4id ; lo.k- l^d to Zd.
