FORMATION OF A NEW LODGE. Upwards of 50 master Masons and past masters, representing lodges under the j jurisdiction of the English, Irish, Scotch, and New Zealand Masonic Constitutions, assembled in the Masonic Hall, Moray place, on Monday evening, the occasion being the formation of a new lodge comprising masters and past masters of the various i craft lodges. I The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand ' Master, Bro. T. Ro«s, presided, and apolo- ! giee for absence were received from Past Masters Bros. S Solomon, Archdeacon , Gould, Parker, H. E. Moller, Peden, Gallagher, Stoneham, and Dr Closs. ! The Chairman stated that 74 past masters had signified their willingness to become charter members of the new lodge, and everything pointed to the formation of an ■ exceedingly strong and' influential lodge, I which would undoubtedly fulfil a most im- ' portant function in the community.
