"Jenkins, what do all those wooden boxes ■oontam?" asked the chemist of hi 6 assistant, pointing to a big pile of them lying against the wait of the store-room. "Those are full of Sunburn salve," replied Jenkins ; "we laid in too big a stock. There are 18 gross, sir. The summer's gone, so we sha'n't sell 'em till next year, I'm afraid."
For a moment or two Che chemist frowned with vexation ; but he was a resourceful man, and never allowed obstacles to stand in his way. "Jenkins," he said presently, with an eye lendered bright by a good idea, "destroy ■aH the Sunburn -salvo labels and prepare some new ones and put on them, ' Chappo, Nature's great cure. Instant relief for chapped hands and faces.' At the first frosr the whole lot should go .off like hot cakes.
