BLENHEIM, December 4. In the Blenheim egg-laying competition the total for the* week was 2211. and the grand total 53,442. The highest pens for the week are : — Padman's white Leghorns, 33 ; Lessington's white Leghorns, 32 ; Scott's white Leghorns, 31 ; Smale and Hay's white Leghorns,, 31. The highest to date are : — Brown's white Leghorns, 970 ; Miss Brown's black Or-
pingtons, 892; Poultry Journal's white Leghorns, 868; Edelston's white Legj horns, 868 ; Sturrock's. black Orpingtons, 866. The winning pens for the Octdber prize are : — Miss Rena Dodson, 146 ; Master Lessington, ' 138. . November prize : Robert Allan, 138 ; Merritt, 136.
