Notes from Alexandra.
(Fhom Our Own Correspondent.) ALEXANDRA, December 3. Mining is very quiet in this district. The antimony mine is providing some excellent stone, and the developments lately have exceeded expectations. At Conroy's quartz reefing i« receiving attention. 3lr John Roberteon has recently erected a small crushing plant on the site of his reef, and the stone crushed has produced highly payable results. Another party (Everitt and Terry) are also engaged in extending prospecting work in their claim, and I was recently shown a sample of atone taken from this claim. From the appearance of the quartz, -there is every reason to believe that future developments of this lode will be attended with success.
