PTOMAINE POISONING.
FIVE PEOPLE ILL. WELLINGTON, December 3. "Last night Miss Arthur Raven, wife of^ a baker on Clyde quay* her three children, and Ethel Cook (the servant, girl) became seriously ill after eating tinned i sardines. A -doctor was summoned, and after he had attended to them they were taken to the hospital. Their condition is somewhat better to-day.
