Remedy for Appendicitis.
German medical journals are recommending a new and peculiar remedy for appendicitis, the employment of which, it is declared, will obviate the necessity for the use of the. knife in the great majority of cases. This remedy consists in walking on all fours 20 minutes four times a day. This method of treatment operates by strengtheiling the abdomina.l muscles. "When these muscles have ire'la\.ocl tho bowels become displaced, congested, and diseased; the disease extends to tho appendix, and thus an inflammation is produced. It is- claimed that a well-known German diplomat /has been recently cured of chronic appendicitis by this method.
