ANNUAL MEETING. CHRISTCHURCH, October 15. The annual meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Shipping Company (Ltd.) was held in London on the 13th iiist. Tho profit and loss account showed a credit of £54,527, including £10,760 broug-ht forward. A dividend of 6s per share was declared, making with the interim dividend of <?s paid in April a total of 10s per share, equal to^ 5 per cent, on the original capital — viz., £10 per share. The 6 um of £20,000 was placed to an insurance fund, and £15,500 was „ carried forward to next year. The retiring directors were rje-elected. i _
