PUBLIC SCHOOL CADETS. REPORT BY LIEUT-COLONEL LOVEDAY.

Lieut.-colonel/Loveday, in. h» report on the Public School Cadets, states that the Government has decided to foster the cultivation of good shooting among the C*dete by assisting in the erection of miniature rifle ranges At these ranges the Cadets Trill shoot irom a distance of 2{j yards, and a Bn. 22 rifle will be need. The practice at these ranges will be, as far as possible, under natural conditions, so tb/it it will serve as a preliminary introduction to the practice on the rang©. A further supply of the miniature En.310 rifle, together with new barrels and spare part*, has been received from Westley, Richards, and Company' for isßiw wW necessary.
