The wheat market is dull, and, despite the firmness of American 1 buyers it is quite demoralised by the early and abundant harvest in Canada and the anticipation of free shipments thence. Sellers are firai in view of the statistical position. Prices are nominally unchanged ; 38s 3d is asked for Australian August- September shipment and 38& 6d to 39s 6d for spot. The flour market is dull. Quotations i axe as follow: — 25s to 25s 6d in London, I and 27b in Glasgow. The butter market is quiet, and prices fere unchanged. j The sugar market is flat. German, 9s 6d ; first marks, 11s 7d. The Bradford wool market is quiet, and , prices are unchanged. The undertone of the market is firm.
