A FLOCK OP 400 TWO-TOOTH CORRIEDALE EWES JUST AFTER BEINGTAKEN OUT OF THE SNOW. The sheep are the property of Mr J. M'lntosh, Burkes Pass, ,and the photo, shows them shortly after their rescue from the heavy snowdrifts of the Mackenzie Country. Draught horses were utilised in order to break down the heavy accumulations of Enow, and thus form, tracks along which the sheep could be driven.
