August 13. Somerset beat Hampshire by - seven wickets. Braund made 124 and S. M. J. Woods 105, the pair ad-ding 199 in tw« and a-half hours. Both were not out.
August 16.
Kent scored 601 ior -eight -wickets •gainst Somerset. Seymour made 129, Wooley 105, A. P. Day 118, Humphreys 149. The latter pair added 248 in 100 minutes. Yorkshire beat Surrey by seven wickets.
