MOTOR-CYCLE RACING.
The Victorian Motor Cycle Club recently held a successful 20-mile motor handicap race starting from Keilor - township and* finishing at Gieborne. The course chosenr* was a bad one for fast times, as it included three very stiff hills. Notwithstanc!-. ing this, the time put u$ was most oredis-. able. Nineteen starters put in an appear*.' anoe, and a3 the race was for roadster,, machines only, it pr&ved very interesting^ from a spectator's point of view. H.. Perry, on hie 5 h.p. Peugeot motor, 6eourecß first place, averaging over 40 miles persihour. N. Jackson was only a few mile* behind Perry, mounted on a 3A h..p( Peugeot; a few seconds later W.
