CONVICTIONS ■ AT INVERCARGILL.
INVEROARGILL, August 14At the. Police Cour.fc to-day the adjourned- hearing of the case against Frank Poff resulted in his conviction for haying assisted in ihe . unlawful sale of whisky for which he- was ,§ent to .gaol for three ■months Rose Pbff, who was convicted of ely .grog-selling last week, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment. John Fahey, who was charged with conveying liquor for sale in connection with the above catea, was fined 30s.
