speed on the voyage to Sydney has been liked for 10 knots per hour, and the warships will anchor in the Australian harbour on Thursday morning at 11.30. H.M.S. Powerful left for Sydney this morning, and the supply steamer Culgoa sails for Brisbane to-morrow morning to load a "cargo of fresh meat for the fleet. The vessel arrives at Brisbane on the 19th inst., and rejoins the fleet at Sydney g. few days later. Some 30 officers from the American Jfreet left for Motutspu to-day to indulge in a day's deer-stalking on the island. *£h.& party returned to town this evening with several good antlers as trophies pf • the visit.
