CROMWELL, August If. Dredging matters are very quiet, nothing sensational in the way of returns being about.
Both the Electric dredores seem to bd right off the rioh .wash +hat was usually picked up from time to time in this claim, and it Is now thousrht that they will havei to look out for claims in the Clutha Rives shortly, where they should do well. The Hartley and Rilev dredge has beei* shifted down n short distance to nick up a. lead that is thought to run into the bank.
The Clutha River dredge is not doing 1 much so far, as the ground is rough and) poor.
