Arrivals for the Aveek included 800 cases from Rarotonga. 207 cases from Sydney, and 268 eases from Hobart and Sydney. There were also 210 cases of repack oranges I'rom Auckland and 40 cases of Poorman oranges from Whangarei. Very small consignments of apples came forward. The market generally showed a livelier tendency ,_ and there was a noticeable firming of prices ' for oranges. - The Raroiongan shipment .arrived in very much better condition than was anticipated; and were readily bought up. Passion Fruit. — In fair supply. Halfgins, 4s to 7s ; packer cases, 5s 3d. Fruit rather dry.

Apples. — Market moderately supplied. Choice Lord Wokeleys, 8s 6d to 9s; medium, 4s to 6s 6d; inferior, 2s to 3s; choice desserts wanted, 6s 9d to 9fi ; medium, 4s 6d to 5s 6d ; inferior, 2s 6d to 3e 6d : Hobart scarlet Permain. 13s 6d ; Stunners, 9s -to 10s 6d ; local Stunners, 7s 6d to £s; Hobart French crabs, 9s 6d to 10s.
