AN AUCKLAND TOUR. AUCKLA&D, March 13. Mr J. A. Gilruth, M.R.0.V.5., Chief Government Veterinarian,' has just oonrpleted a tour of the Auckland province. One of the principal reasons for his tous waa to inspect the various municipal abofc* toirs, which have been recently erected*. . The Chief Veterinarian's tour took him down as far as Opotiki, and he report*, that the stock were everywhere in excellent condition, considering the dry season, and free from disease.
