Compressed Air for Consumption.
One of the engineers of the"Cleveland (U.S.A.) water department, who assisted in the construction of the Cleveland water tunnel, believes that he has discovered in. compressed air the cure for consumption. He has arrived at this conclusion after watching the effect of compressed air on men at work under it. He declares that one consumptive was completely cured, and that many men whom the engineers were at first afraid to place under compressed air because 6f weakness thrived upon it. In the New York tunnol he claims that physicians have also found consumptives jmproving. A number of practical tests ara to be made.
