AUCKLAND LANDS.
AUCKLAND, January 31. During tho next three months, and exclusive of areas gazetted (particulars of which were announced recently), about 42.869 acres of Crown land in the Auckland province have been surveyed, and will in all probability come into the market during the next three months. Lands in course of survey for settlement, and expected to be opened during the current year, total 77 241 acres, and lands formerly ODened under the Land Act of 1892, and now in course of reopening under the amending act of 1907, amount to 436,916 acres, lhus the total area available for selection during the current year will be 557,026 acres.
