THE MACEDONIAN QUESTION.
SIR,E. GREY'S PROPOSAL!?. LONDON, January 31. Sir Edward Grey's proposal to the Powers recommends an increase in the Macedonian gendarmerie to pursue bands. In order to circumvent this proposal the Porte is organising 12 flying columns of picked men to combat the bands.
