INQUEST.
AUCKLAND. January 30,
At an inquest held at Waiuku on Tu<^sdav on the bouv of Allied Ncalie, who re drowned at Waik^to Heads on January 9. it waa shown that the launch in which the party had gone outside the heads intending to fi-h. owinsr to an accident to the rudder, wa3 not thoroughly under control. The passage across the bar, however, was considered safo by the occupants, but Nealie, when approaching the bar, jumped up in a fright, and w ith the oar with which ho had been assisting in steering threw himself overboard, and was drowned.
