GREYMOUTH, January 31
A Westport gentleman who arrived in town by the s.s. Mapourika yesterday afternoon had something to say to a Star reporter regarding the general election this \car. He said that it is now practically certain that Mr Fergus F. Munro will orposo Mr J. Colvin, M.P., for tho Buller seat. Even at this early date matters are being worked up. the member and the prospectne candidate being kept well before the public. Ihe gentleman says that Mr Cohm? action in getting the "eight hours, hank-to-ba.uk ' principle on the Statute Book will stand him in good stead.
