SOUTHLAND SLAUGHTERMEN.
INVERCARGILL, February 3.
A conference between the slaughtermen' md representatives of the Southland Freezing Works was held this afternoon and evening to review the draft agreement defining- the wages and conditions of work, pto. Nothing is finally fixed yet, but everything goes smoothly. It is the practice of those concerned to hold these meetings, and conferences are also held .between the masters and the men with reference to a scries of agieements from the Southland Freezing Workeis' Union.
