LAND BOARD ELECTION.
CROWN TENANTS VOTING.
BLENHEIM, January 3,
The results of the first Land Board election by Crown tenants, under the new Legislation, were made known to-day. There were six candidates, and' Mr John Duncan was returned by a large majority. The total votes polled were 461. The number of voters orr the roll is 748.
Mr Duncan opposed", the Hon. C. H. Mills in the last two parliamentary elections in the Opposition interest. NELSON, January 3. TibuT candidates stood' for election to the Nelson Land Board, Mr Andrew SincMr being returned By a large majority. A large number of invalid votes were received.
