The Hon. Dir Findlay and Mrs Fmdlas • left for Lyttelton to-night to officially accompany Admiral Sir Wilmot and Lady; Fawkes to Mount Cctek. The Hon. R. M*Nab will leave Wellington on Monday next by the express forr Napier. On Tuesday he travels , to> Mohaka; on Wednesday he will reach Wairoa at midday and reoeivo^-a deputa- - tion: next day he' will continue nis journey-.-towards Gisborne,, driving through Wairoa. to Tiniroto ; on Friday night Ghborna wilt be reached; Saturday will Be spent mi visiting the Te Arai Estate, recently acquired" compulsorily under the Land for Settlements Act, and Sunday will be passed! in Gisborne. During the second week th» Minister will make his way further north along the coast, reaching Tolago Bay "on; Monday, January 20, and. Waimata on Tuesday, returning to Gisborne on "Wednesday; and taking train to Tepuha, where he will spend th 9 night. Thursday evening willy if the proposed itinerary is adhered to,' see. the travellers at Motu, from" which they will ride on horseback next day to-Opotikiir On Saturday a very heavy day's travelling}, is contemplated, commencing with a 16mile drive to Whakatane, thence to Rotorua (70 miles) by motor car. On. the following Monday '(January 27) the Minister:, will travel to Taumarunui by train,, and orir Tuesday, January 28, from Taumarunui by train and coach to» Raetahi. He intends spending a complete day in this rapidly--developing centre' on' fcho MJain,' Trunkrailway. On Thursday it i& his intention* to reach Taihape. On January, 31 he will travel from. Taihape -to Wellington. Another lengthy tour^will be commenced by the Minister of Lands a week after hi® return from the -East Coast. The country, to be covered will be> the West Coast of the South' lsland.
