SUICIDE AT NEW BRIGHTON. CHRISTCHURCH, January 5.
Thia morning Constable Howe, stationed at New Brighton, was handed s double* Barrelled gun which had been found on th< beach. It was loaded in one barrel, tha other having been, discharged. 'A piece o( boot-lace wad attached to one of the triggers^ On searching- the - beach the' body of t young man, identified later on aa that oi T v G. Bezett,. was found .with his hea<{ partly blown fiff. Bezett is said to havi came- from Temdka for a holiday, and Vtfcs, it' is stated, slightly* under tho influence oi liquor when he arrived' at Brighton last. < night. . ' -
