Notes from Greymouth.
(FBOX Ora OWK COBBXSPONIHQTT.) GREYMOUTH, December 2. The Keep-it-Dark battery got 4400s 9oVt for 1340 tons of stone crushed during the month of November. In No. 7 level the stone is a very fair sample. . At the Big River mine development on the quartz lodes is proceeding satisfactorily, and another good yield should be recorded at next crushing. In concluding his monthly report the manager says : " During the month we have been prospecting for coal for steam purposes, and have discovered six outcrops at a distance of about a mile from the mine."
