OLD WRITERS' WEEK.
I have been out of town for a fortnight, and -the notice I meant to have in about Old Writers' Week has in consequence not appeared when it should. But I think most of you know by now that December 11 is the date of this interesting annual gathering. There is a fair pile of letters to hand, with the signatures of many well-known writers, and I think I can promise you a- most interesting page of reading. Indeed, it is possible that there will be enough matter for two issues, so that you may look for a feast indeed As the date originally fixed for O.W.W. ■was December 4, there may be some D.L.F. who have made a special effort to get this week's number, thinking to find it contain O.W.W. If any such D.L.F. would send me a line letting" me know, I might be able to send them a copy of the Witness of the later date. Now iox the usual warning about ordinary letters. They have continued to come in as usual up to date, so that I miiftt prolong the ulose season still a little. IF ANY ORDINARY LETTERS REACH ME BETWEEN THE DATES DECEMBER 7 AND DECEMBER 14 they will in all probability not be printed at all, even in condensed form. So remember, Little Folk!
