j AUCKLAND, December 2. i The third round of the cricket cup championship has concluded. The .round was eventful for the big scores.. On both days there ' was ideal weather. In the City y< . Grafton match the former closed with six' Wickets down for 380 runs, and Grafton : replied with 190 runs, Andiwood (53 not out) and Clayton (25) being the highest soorers. Following on, they made 130 runs for three wickets, Claytoi (53 not out) and Graham (33) being the leading scorers'. City won on the first innings by 187 runs. North Shore closed the innings with eipht wickets down for 290 runs, and Parnell. could only respond with 106 runs, and following on lost four wickets for 90 runs. North Shore won on the first innings by. 184 runs. Eden had an easy win over Poneonby by an innings and 71 runs. xPonsonby were all out in the first innings for 110 runs, and Eden lost two wickets for 287 runs. Elliott (106 not out) and Rtelf (85 not out) were prominent scorers. Ponsonby in the second innings scored 106 for eight wickets, two players being absent.
