i The Wyndham Racing Club are out witl their programme for their annual meeting which is to take place on New Year's Day Some fairly attractive stakes have beei ' placed on an eight-item card, which i headed, in point of monetary value, witl the New Year Handicap, of 40sovs (on< , mile and a distance). The Mimihau Handi j cap (seven furlongs) carries a 35sov stake I and the Flying Handicap (five furlonas) i j also endowed with a prize of the sam< value. Other flat ovente are as follow :- District Hack Handicap, of ZOsovs (six fur loners); Handicap Hack Race, of 30sovs (su furlongs); and District Handicap, of 35sovj (one ' mile). Two trotting events in th< shape of the Handicap? Trot, of 40sovs (on< mile and a-half), and Handicap Trot, o 35sovs (one mile, saddle), should attract i liberal entry. Nominations are due on Mon day, December 16, handicaps on Friday, De cember 20, and acceptances must be de i clared on Friday, December 27.
