Laudervale was out in front from tha word " Go." and won comfortably from Vitella, who had mixed two or three times during the race. First Pet acted badly throughout the race, and finished last. Silver Black was made favourite fox the Bracelet, and the race- was- never in doubt, although- Opal at one time looked to have a; winning- chance when sha-xnixedt Ringman was soon out in front in the Dtonnain Handicap, and just lasted long enough ta win by a short head from.
