EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.
BLENHEIM, November 29. At the Blenheim egg-laying competition the total for the week was 2490 and the total to date 55,618. The higbest for the week were t— Scott (white Leghorns), 38; Shaw (white Leghorns), 37; Leiohart (white Leghorns), 37. The highest to date are:— Herald (white Leghorns), 766; Law, (white Leghorns), 765 ; Leichart (white Leghorns), 753; Silcook (white Leghorns), 751; Brown (white Leghorns), 739; Dodson (black Orpington), 737. ♦ CHRISTCHURCH, December 2. t The report of the Utility Poultry Clubs third eg«-laying competition shows that the week closedl with a total of 1064 eggs, bringing the grand total up to 29,4 ib.
