OBITUARY
LORD BATTERSEA. LONDON, November 27. The death pf Lord Battereea is announced at the age of 64 years. Lord Battersea, who was raised to the peerage in 1892, and who was the first to hold th© title, was born, in 1843. He won the Brecon seat in 1880, and held it .until it was mertped in the county after the pasting of the Reform Bill. He was thrice M.P. for South Bedfordshire, and held the office of Lord of the Treasury in Mr Gladstone's - last Administration. The deceased was an ardent- huntsman, and won the House of Commons Steeplechase in 1889. Biliousness is widely considered constitutional arsd incurable, but that is * mistake.
