i SYDNEY, November 26. A meeting of the Bank of New South I Wales was held to-day. The net profits j for the half-year were £142,966, to which I was added £29,314, carried forward from j the previous half-year. A dividend at } the rate of 10 per cent, per ansum was declared, £30,000 was added to the reserve fund, and £31,645 was carried forward. The president said there were indications throughout their business of spare money being more freely used for investment than had been the case for some years.
