ALLOWANCES TO SHOOTING TEAMS.
LONDON, July 24. Mr Buchanan (Financial Secretary of the Army Council), in replying to a question by Mr Courthope-^in the House of Commons, promised to inquire as to whether colonial Governments granted separate ( allowances to the non-commis-sioned officers and men composing representative shooting .teams visiting England. He also elated that the National Rifle Association would bear the entire cost of the forthcoming visit of the British team to the colonies.
