Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman induced the House of Commons to authorise the application of the closure in the debate on $he Evicted Tenants (Ireland) Bill. r Mr Balfour declared that the late Government regarded the closure as a drug to be administeffed to a 6ick patient, tut the present Government treated it as cart of members' daily food.
