PRESS OPINIONS. BRISBANE, July 29.
Commenting on Saturday's game, the Courier says: —"Considering that the New Zealanders played two men short, they played a game of which they can feel justly proud." The Daily Mail says: —"Queensland are to be congratulated on the excellent fight in the second half, and had they played with a similar dash in the opening stages they would have been nearer to their opponents' score at the finish. But it must be remembered that in losing two of their forwards New Zealand were greatly handicapped, and they are to be complimented on the plucky finish of their 13 men." SYDNEY, July 29. Several additional New South Wales footbaJlers, also Hunter and Mynott, left for Brisbane last night in view of the next match, Australia v. New Zealand, to be played" on Saturday. ; ! I
