THE RAND STRIKE. LONDON, July 25.
Speaking in £he Houee of Commons, Mr 'Winston Churchill said he did not possess information justifying an application to Parliament 'to vote funds to bring 3000 Rand strikers to the Home Country. CAPETOWN, July 29. The Band strike has been finally declared off. The Government has secured for the majority of the strikers re-employ-ment at the old terms pending the receipt of the Mining Commission's report.
