The usual fortnightly meeting of the Otago Hockey Centre was held on Tuesday night, when there were present — Mr J. A. Park (in the chair), Messrs G. G. Austin, H. Goodman, J. Rider, J. C. K. Sibbald, and H. C. South Mr H. C. South resigned the position of manager of the Otago tourine team, and Mr H. Goodman was appointed in his place. Mr South also resigned the position of secretary. next meeting. In consequence of the retirement of "'Mr South, the Selection Committee ■was instructed "to pick another num to accompany the team on its tour. The following are the- results of the Otago Ladies' Association fixtures, played last Saturday:—A Grade: Waiata (4) beat Dunedin (1); Otago (nil) drew with St. Hilda's (ml); St. Phillips (1) drew with Girls' High School (1). B Grade: Otago (2) beat Momoma (1); Waiata (5) beat University (1); Dunedin (4) beat bt. Hilda's (nil); High School (2) drew with Braemar House (2). In the A Grade Wodat* U leading fox the championship with 2 points. B Grade: Otago 2, Waiata 3, Dunedin 2. Fibst Grade. Otago met V.M.C.A. at Forbury on Saturday, and, after a very fast gune, won by S goals to nil. The game was very fast and open, and the Y.M.OA. pat tip a' very plucky. figh<t against their older opponents. Otago went away from the start, but V.M.C.A. were very safe, and several shots were, safely warded off waftil Maetfibbon got a good goal' for Otago. Oalder scored again after another five minutes' play, and Adams was not long in following suit, but the goal was disallowed as the referee did 1 not see it.. HacGibbon scored the third goal, and' soon after half time was called. V.M.C.A. started off determinedly, but the combined work of Otago soon told, .and Midgeley got a hot shot . through.
