ROUGH WEATHER AT HOME LONDON, December 28.
Thrilling scenes were witnessed at Redcar, on the Yorkshire coast, during the rescue, which continued up to midnight, of 70 out of 120 of the crew of the Japanese liner Awa Maru, which vas wrecked on the Westcar. Rock. A terrible sea was running. Later on the balance of the crew got away from the vessel — some in lifeboats, some in fishing boats, and the rest by means of the ship's boats.
