CHESS IN DUNEDIN.

At the Oiago Chess Club's Rooms, last Wednesday night, Mr David Forsyth, Senior Club champion and ex-champion of New Zealand, ~ gave an exhibition of simultaneous play at chess, encountering single-handed. 14 opponents. The contest commenced at 8 o'clock, and lasted three hours and th-nes-quarters-, the moves on each side being made with 8-tudious deliberation.
