2\ow, let us continue our conversation about Esperanto — the most useful language. Is an international language possible? Yes, and Esperanto is a very interesting language. You can make use of it whenever you need to write to persons living in foreign lands who possibly do not know your language, and whose native language you do not know. Wonderful! But how is it possible to do that? Suppose that the person addressed not only doe* not know the language, but. like me, has not even heard of it'/ You have only to send with your letter s small leaflet called *' Little Vocabulary." and the person addressed will bs able to understand your letter. Is it possible? I assure you it is so. Well, what is truly your opinion about it? What do you say about it? I certainly think that it is a practical language for international correspondence, and that it is the only practical solution to enable everyone whatsoever to correspond with people living in other countries. I am convinced that it will be a- great boon for the world if it receives the attention which it deserves. Bravo! I think that that is a magnificent idea. But I fear that few Englishmen will use it. Well, I have leeeived a foTeign publication, and it contained a leaflet. What do you think ifc was ? It was a "' Directory of Tradespeople accepting the use of Esperanto " ! If the foreign tradespeople are accepting the use of Esperanto, English tradespeople must accept it too. Well, I at least will begin to learn. I believe that perhaps the ttse of Esperanto will help me in my business. How can I begin to learn Esperanto? I have some books for learning, and I will lend them to you. (To be continued.)

Mi certe opinias ke ghi estas praktika lingvo por internacia korespondado, kaj ke ghi estas la sola praktika solvo por ebligi chiun ajn korespondi kun alilanduloj. Mi estas konvinkita ke ghi estoa granda' gajno por la mondo se ghi ricevos la atenton- kiun. ghi meritas. Brave! Mi pensas ke ghi estas bonega ideo. Sed mi timas ke malmultaj Angloj uzos ghin. • Nil, mi ricevis frenidan -eidonajhon, .kaj ghi • enhavis folieton. Kion vi pensas ke ghi estis ? Ghi estis " Adresaro de . la Komercisioj akceptantaj la uzadon de Esperanto"! Se la fremdaj komercistoj akceptas la uzadon Esperanto, la Anglaj komercistoj devos akcepti ghin ankau. Nu, mi almenau komencos lerni. Mi kredaß ke eble la uzado de Esperanto helpos ruin en mia komerco. Kiel mi povos komenci lerni Esperanton? Mi havas lernolibrojn, kaj mi prunte donos ilin alvi.
