! My Dear Readers,— No further " stipplementary" subscriptions to the above having reached me, I have sent what I had in hand on to the secretary of the association, to be duly forwarded to T>r Grenfell. I added enough to make the sum up to £1, so that the gift of " The Unknown -Friends " now amounts to £10. The subscriptions just forwarded were i ivade up as follows .—Country Mouse, 10s; J il D., 2s 6d; Another Silent Friend, 2s 6d ; Lex '2nd sub.), 2= 6d: Emineline. 2s Gd; total, j £1. The fund, as you know, closed some time since.
